Will you be taking the IELTS<\/strong>  in 2023? As is well known, IELTS<\/strong> is the most widely used language proficiency exam in the world. More than 140 nations recognize this English language proficiency test for immigration-related purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passing the IELTS<\/strong> is the first step in your immigration process if you want to live in a country like the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or the USA. Let us talk about the latest changes for IELTS and the new IELTS format for 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New IELTS format for 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new IELTS<\/strong> format for the paper test has changed. However, the pattern remains the same. Let’s find out what the changes are and when they will take effect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exam sequencing will change starting on June 25th, 2022<\/em>, but the pattern will stay the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, the sequence of modules has changed a bit: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the sequence has changed a bit, but, the rest remains unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

60 minutes would be allotted for writing, 60 for reading, 30 for listening, and 11 to 14 for speaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There would be two writing sections, three reading parts, four listening parts, and three speaking parts. There will be over 400 words in the writing portion, 40 questions in the reading and listening sections, and a face-to-face interview for speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New IELTS Indicator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IELTS 2022-23<\/strong> Exam syllabus has not changed if you are attempting the exam this year. IELTS Indicator<\/strong>, a new IELTS<\/strong> format, is now being launched. This is for applicants to take the exam at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All four exam sections\u2014listening, reading, writing, and speaking\u2014are accessible for the examination. IELTS examiners on the opposite virtual side are marking the test in real time. If you have a computer, an internet connection, and the IELTS Indicator<\/strong>, you can access it. The Speaking examination is administered a few days after the Listening, Reading, and Writing tests are completed in one sitting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
